This is one of the first paintings I made on my journey of self discovery. I really noticed and felt the benefits to my mental health from the acts of painting and stitching. I have been creating art all my life but this was the first time I made the concrete connection between colour, pattern, application and psychological relief. I used acrylic paint, iridescent film, beads and thread.
